A Reading List of Blogs About Money

I am on a quest to find good blogs with great articles about how to save money, how to invest money, and even how to make money in unusual ways.  Here are a few of the sites that I have found so far that I really like.

The Simple Dollar is one of those sites that has been around for years and yet I never heard of it.  That just goes to show how big the Web really is because this looks like a really successful site.

The Monetarian doesn't have much content but the articles are sensible and reference a lot of good source material.  This guy has been thinking about money for a long time.

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has a name that sounds like something out of a comic book.  I kind of picture them wearing trenchcoats and wearing sunglasses but this is a real government agency trying to help defend consumer wallets.

Making Money is easily one of the best blogs I have found that shares unusual ideas for making money.  The author has a keen insight for everyday opportunities that people overlook on other blogs.

Frugal Living is another blog offering advice on how to save money more than how to make it but still packed with some really good ideas if you ask me.

Couponing Tips is a great resource if you want to reduce your costs at the grocery store.  This isn't one of those gauzy "coupon queen" Websites.  It just offers practical tips on saving money.

Michelle's Finance Journal is a pretty interesting personal finance diary where the writer shares a lot of details about her personal financial activity.  Very cool.

Money Time has a rich selection of articles that covers just about everything you can imagine.  From investing to saving to managing debt, this is a good resource for you.

Finance is Personal sounds like it might be one of those personal financial journey blogs but it's really just a great resource filled with good, sensible advice about managing money.

Journey to Saving looks like another decent personal financial journey blog.  I also like the layout.

Investier offers insights into investing your money as well as ways to find money to invest.  This is a slick, professional-looking site.
